What is Access to Work?
Access to Work is a publicly funded employment support grant that aims to help more disabled people start or stay in work. It can provide practical and financial support for you if you have a disability or long term physical or mental health condition.
It is distinct from "Reasonable Adjustments". Reasonable adjustments are changes your employer must pay for legally. Access to Work covers the costs above what is reasonable, or specialist items that an employer wouldn't normally provide.
